How is the strategy provider’s commission calculated?
Updated over 7 months ago

The strategy provider sets the commissions such as Performance fee % (based on the profit made) and is charged monthly (on the 1st of each month). Some strategies may have both fee types or none at all.

The maximum performance fee is 70% and maximum subscription fee is $70. If the investor copies a trade part way through the month, their subscription fee is calculated on a pro rata basis by hour, so (hours copied / hours in the month) to get a ratio of hours copied verse the subscription fee for a month.

The commissions can include Performance on the percentage of profit, an ongoing subscription fee, or both. It is up to the trader (strategy provider) to determine the fee structure to copy their strategy. It is important to check the strategy’s fee structure before subscribing to it.
Fees can be viewed in the Statistics section of a Strategy.
